Thank you so, so much for including the written direction for the charted pattern!!! I am chart phobic and just CANNOT wrap my brain around charts no matter how much I try!!
I LOVE your pattern and can't wait to try it -- thank you very much for sharing it with us :)
I've been watching Franklin's socks, too -- the pattern is beautiful and I'd like to try it. I'm curious, though, what size do these knit up to? I see your note about changing the size, but nothing else about the size.
the pattern says to cast on 66 sts - for plain stockinette socks knit with fingering weight yarn I usually cast on 64 sts. I hope this gives you an idea about the size of the socks (circumference-wise). Being basically a ribbed pattern the size is pretty flexible, especially if you have smaller feet. Otherwise you should probably cast on 72 sts. Good luck with your Primaveras!
I'm glad you and so many other knitters like the pattern. More than 800 people (!) have queued the pattern on Ravelry so far, and many of the finished ones I've seen are VERY beautiful - including Franklin's, of course!
